I captured my Christmas day in 12 hours.
A photo an hour, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m..
Christmas Day usually speeds by at an unusually alarming pace and I thought this would be a lovely way to capture the fun.
I did, however, think the results would be different...I imagined photographic gems of well thought out artsy snippets of ribbon, sweet holiday details...but nope.
It turned out to be more about our little family than I had anticipated.
And then I thought, "How silly of me. Of course it is about the kids."
And giant Christmas balls;).
If you want more details, then click on the mosaic and it will bring you to the individual shots...but I think the collection pretty well sums up our day.
It was busy and quiet and rushed and peaceful all rolled into one.
I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas:).
*** And thanks to my twitter friends @missfish and @larawellman who suggested a 12 hour project for Christmas Day. More days can be found by searching #xmas12 on twitter.
